Computer Requirements

MAC Compatibility:

Event Floorplan Designer (EFD) is NOT compatible with macOS.

We can not fully support any problems that may occur while using EFD on a MAC.

Remote Network Compatibility:

EFD is not designed to run on a remote network. If it is used this way we cannot support any issues that may occur.

Below are the PC specifications that we recommend for a smooth experience with Event Floorplan Designer. If your computer has lower specifications it will run slower, if your specifications are higher it will run faster. The graphics card is a very important consideration when using Event Floorplan Designer so if possible, try to avoid the usual built in graphics cards that come pre-installed on lower end computers.

Recommended Specifications as at 14th July 2015

Operating System : Windows 7/10/11 Pro 64-bit.

RAM (Computer Memory) : 32GB (Minimum 8GB)

Processor : Intel Quad Core i7

Graphics Card : We recommend a graphics card that is not the standard one supplied with most computers unless it is a high end computer. Which ever graphics card you choose, it must support OpenGL for the best experience, most modern graphics cards will support this.

The following graphics cards have been used without any issues:

NVIDIA - Quadro K4200, K2100m, GeForce GTX 560ti, GeForce GTX 650ti, GeForce GT 330M
AMD - AMD RADEON™ R7 250
Intel - HD Graphics 4000

IMPORTANT: There are problems with the following graphics cards so they should be avoided is possible:

Mouse : A mouse with a centre button and/or wheel is recommended for efficient zooming.
