Drawing Rectangular Stands on an Angle

Drawing a Rectangular Stand at an angle

1

There is a Video at the bottom of this page if you prefer to watch that instead.

Select the 'Rectangular' option from the Draw Stands button on the HOME ribbon as highlighted in Blue on the picture below.

TIP: You can also initiate this function by using the default Hot Key ' R '

2

Now press ' 3 ' on your keyboard to change the Stand mode to ' 3 Point Rectangle '. This mode lets you draw one edge of the stand first at the angle you want before you start to set the stand size.

NOTE: Remember that if you want to go back to drawing a straight stand, you need to press ' 2 ' (2 point rectangle).

3

Click on the screen at the first point of the stand edge (watch video below).

Press F9 on your keyboard to change the mouse input mode to Distance / Angle.

Now drag your mouse pointer until the edge of the stand is at the correct length and angle you require, then click your mouse.

Once you have drawn one edge of the stand, drag your mouse again to adjust the size of the stand then click the mouse to finish.
