Edit Zone Name Colours for individual Zones

Editing a Zone Name Colour for an individual Zone

1

Zoom to the Zone you want to edit and select it as shown below.

2

Click on the Blue Node that is in the middle of the Zone Name. When selected properly, you should be able to move the Name around with your mouse.

Now press R on your keyboard. This will reset the text size and position. This is important because you can only change the text colour with the text reset to it's default settings.

Note that if there is a previous colour applied, that colour does not get reset, the colour can only be changed as described below in step 3.

3

With the Zone still selected, select the colour you would like to use for the Name text by clicking on the Colour selector in the bottom left of your screen as highlighted below. In this case I will select Magenta.

4

After selecting the Colour a message will appear as shown below, this is to confirm you would like to change the colour, click YES.

5

After clicking Yes you will notice the Name changes colour as shown below, however, you will also notice that the Zone outline also changes colour which we do not want in this example, so to change it back to the orignal colour go to step 6.

6

With the Zone still selected, click on the + button and then the - button on the top menu to increase and then decrease the text size.

The reason you have to do this is so that the text remains 'Fixed', which means the text colour cannot be changed again unless you reset the text again as per step 2 above.

So now, because you can't change the text colour, we can change the outline colour back to what it was without changing the text colour. Go to Step 7.

7

With the Zone selected, select the colour you would like to change the outline colour back to by clicking on the Colour selector in the bottom left of your screen as highlighted below.

The default colour for Zone outlines is by the colour of the layer it is on, so in this case I will select LAYER.

8

After selecting the Colour a message will appear as shown below, this is to confirm you would like to change the colour, click YES.

The colour of your Zone Name text will remain Magenta and the outline will change back to its original colour as shown below.
