Unable to validate licence

There could be 3 reasons why this message appears:

1. You have no internet connection at all.

2. Your internet connection is done through a Proxy Server.

3. The website that Event Floorplan Designer needs to contact is blocked by your IT department.

Step 1

Check your internet connection. This is easy to check, just open a web browser and do a search in Google for anything. If you get a list of results then your internet connection is working OK, move onto step 2. If not please contact your IT department.

Step 2

Are you using a Proxy Server? - You may not know if your internet is accessed using a Proxy Server so you will need to contact your IT department. If your IT department says you do not use a Proxy server then move onto step 3. If you do use a Proxy Server then click OK to the above message box and re-start Event Floorplan Designer. You will now get the 'Online Activation' dialog appear as shown below, then click on the 'Internet Settings' button.

After clicking on the Internet Settings button, the below dialog box will appear. You now need to tick 'Use a proxy server' and then fill in all the relevant details, this may need to be obtained from your IT department. You can also try clicking 'Use Internet Explorer Settings' this sometimes works.

Once the details have been filled in, click OK and then click the 'Unlock' button as shown in the above dialog box. If all is well, your software will now start and you can carry on working. If after doing the above you still get the same message at the top of this page, move onto step 3. If you get another message click here to get further help.

Step 3

Is your internet restricted? - After trying both of the methods above without any joy, you may need to check with your IT department that the following URLs are not blocked by your company's server, you can also click on these yourself to see if your computer can access them, if not your IT dept. will need to help you.

Once these have been checked and unblocked if necessary, restart Event Floorplan Designer if required and then when the Online Activation dialog appears again, click the Unlock button and the software will start. If you get another message click here to get further help.
