Zooming

There are multiple ways to Zoom in and out of your drawing, so it is worth considering all the options described below so you can select the most efficient way for you.

Zoom Options

1

Mouse Wheel Zoom - The easiest way to zoom in and out of your floorplan is by using your mouse wheel so, as long as your mouse has a wheel on it and is configured correctly in Windows, all you have to do is scroll the wheel forward to zoom in and backwards to zoom out. You can change the Zoom factor under SETTINGS > Display as shown below.

TIP: If you have a wheel mouse you can double-click this to initiate the Zoom Extents zoom type (see other Zoom Ribbon Menu options below).

2

Zoom Ribbon Menu - There are other zoom methods available which are located on the ZOOM ribbon menu as shown below. Try them all to see which one you like the best or, you may just prefer using the wheel on your mouse as described above.

TIP: If you have a wheel mouse you can double-click this to initiate the Zoom Extents zoom type.

TIP: You can assign Zoom tools to Hot Keys for quick access.

3

Zoom tools on the System Toolbar - You will also see some Zoom tools on the System Toolbar as shown below. These can be useful if you are using a laptop and/or need to access the Zoom tools quickly without clicking on the Zoom Ribbon Menu.
