1
Is your drawing linked to Floorplan Live? If Yes go to Step 2.
If not:
Simply attach your drawing (.EFD file) to an email and send it to them.
2
If your drawing is linked to Floorplan Live:
If the person you are sending your drawing to is going to be the new owner, simply attach your drawing (.EFD file) to an email and send it to them.
If they are NOT going to be the new owner, you must break the link to Floorplan Live so that if any any changes are made to the drawing, it does not affect your master drawing. Go to step 3.
3
Open the drawing you want to share and allow it to download and update your drawing from Floorplan Live.
Follow the 'Unlink' procedure as explained on this page then come back to this page and go to step 4.
4
After Unlinking your drawing, go to FILE > Save > Save As (see image below) and save this drawing to your computer with a NEW name such as 'Show Name - Offline Version' or something similar.
You have now created a copy of your drawing which is independant of your master plan.
Now simply attach this new drawing (.EFD file) to an email and send it to the contractor or other EFD user.
