Gangway/Aisle Settings

This section explains how to change the default look of your Gangway/Aisle dimensions along with setting the Minimum Allowed Gangway width on your floorplan.

Adjusting Gangway Settings

1

Select the 'Gangway Settings' option from the Add Gangway Dims button on the HOME ribbon as highlighted in Blue on the picture below.

2

The following dialog box will now appear. See below for an explanation of each option available.

Text Properties:

In this section you can set your default Gangway Dimension text properties. The values for height are based on your drawing units, e.g. in the example shown the height is in Metres. You can also specify whether to show the units after the gangway measurement e.g. '3m' instead of just '3'

Arrows:

Show Lines & Arrows - This option specifies whether Lines and Arrows should be shown with the gangway dimension. This can be helpful to show where the gangway dimension is measuring to and from.

Arrow Length - This value specifies the length of the arrow when the above option is enabled.

TIP: Lines & Arrows can also be switched on per View so you could have Lines & Arrows showing on the technical plan but switched off on the sales plan.

Options:

Minimum Allowed Gangway Width - This setting allows you to set the minimum gangway width allowed for your floorplan. 2m is the most common minimum allowed width but you must check this with the venue. Once this setting has been entered, the Inspect Floorplan function will highlight any gangway dimensions less than 2m that you have have added.

Below are some examples of how your Gangway Dimensions can look.
