Inserting Component Symbols
It is recommended that you prepare your drawing before inserting component symbols, get help with that here.
Inserting Component Symbols
In the instructions below we will use this small block of stands as an example.
Important things to note when inserting the Symbols:
The insertion point of symbols (shown as a Red Node) must be on or within the boundary of the stand. If it is not, the symbol will missed in the Block Plan report.
Try not to duplicate symbols. If symbols are duplicated they will be counted twice and will skew the final Block Plan report.

The first thing we will add is a complete 4 x 3 in the top left corner of the block.
To do this select '08. Octanorm - Stands 3x' from the Symbols panel folder list as highlighted in Green below.
Then select 3 x 4 as highlighted in Blue below.

After clicking on the 3 x 4 symbol, move your mouse to the bottom right corner of the top left stand (the centre of the block) and click once.
Now move your mouse and you will notice that the Symbol is rotating, so select the rotation as required and click your mouse again.
You should end up with the below:
Note: The full stand components do not include the Walls, they will be added in teh next step.
If you made a mistake, Undo and try again.
