Installation Help

Note that the installation below is based on installing it on Windows 10, if you install it on Windows 7 you may get different dialog boxes.

Firstly you need to download Event Floorplan Designer from here. We recommend that you save the installation file on your Desktop so you can find it easily.

Once downloaded, double click on the file to start the installation.

NOTE: You will need to install the software with full administrator privileges or with the admin password.

After double clicking on the installation file, the following dialog will appear. Click YES to continue the installation.

After clicking YES above and you are not logged in as an Administrator, you will get the following dialog asking for an Admin password or PIN.

After clicking YES above, another dialog will appear which prepares the installation:

Once the installation has been prepared, you will get the following dialog box welcoming you to the InstallShield Wizard that guides you through the installation process, click Next.

The next dialog box shows you the licence agreement, please read this carefully and then select either 'I accept the terms in the licence agreement' or 'I do not accept the terms in the licence agreement'. If you do not accept the agreement then you cannot continue. To continue select I agree and then click Next.

The next dialog box shows you the folder where Event Floorplan Designer will be installed. We recommend leaving it as the default folder but for advanced users you can change this folder. Click Next.

The install Wizard is now ready to install the software, click Install.

Event Floorplan will now be installed, once it has finished you will get the below dialog box, click Finish.

You should now now have an icon on your desktop to launch Event Floorplan Designer. Double click this icon to start the program. If not, you may need to restart your computer.

You will now be prompted to add your email address to activate the licence. Enter your email address and then click Unlock.

If all is well then the following message will appear telling you that the software has been unlocked and when it will expire, click OK and the software will start. If you received another message, go to step 14 below.

If the software did not load and you got another message, please click on the message box below that matches the one on your screen for further help. If a different message to any of the below is showing, please contact us.
