Keep Layers Locked
This function is used to Keep specific Layers Locked so they cannot be accidentally unlocked. This is very useful for novice users who are worried about moving objects such as pillars accidentally.
If you try and unlock layers using the Layer Manager, the Keep Locked layers will automatically be locked again.
If you have layers that are unlocked in Views and you load one of these Views, the Keep Locked layers will automatically be locked again.
If you try and unlock a layer using the keyboard shortcut 'U', this will not work.

On the HOME menu, click the 'Layers' button and then 'Keep Locked'.

A Layers dialog box will now appear as shown below. Now all you need to do is Tick the layers you would like to keep locked, then click OK.
For extra security you can set a password to stop certain users accessing this function. Just enter the password in the Set Password field at the bottom. If you forget your password please send the .EFD file to support@eventfloorplans.co.uk and we can unlock it for you.
