Plan Types and Stand Types

Plan Types and Stand Types are used to categorise stands so they can not only be colour coded easily, but they can also be used to obtain detailed stand figures (M² / ft²).

A Plan Type contains is a set of colours called 'Stand Types' that can be allocated to Stands. For example you could have a plan type called 'Sales Plan' which has stand types within it called Sold, Reserved and Available, which would be useful for your sales team, showing only stand colours and calculating stand figures relevant to them.

You could also have an additional Plan Type called 'Operations Plan' which has Stand Types within it called Shell Scheme Option 1, Shell Scheme Option 2 and Space Only, useful for your contractor or operations team.

Other plan type examples could be: Stand Carpet, Electrical Package, Sponsor Stands, Health and Safety, Forms Returned, etc.

Once these categories (Plan Types) have been setup, you can easily switch between each of them using Views.

Note that only one Plan Type can be visible on-screen at a time.
