Copying stands using the 'Copy' function

This function will allow you to copy and paste stands but with these limitations:


The main benefit of this copy method is that you can ue any point on the screen to use as a base point.


There are 2 other copy methods with different options and limitations:

First of all, we recommend using the grid when copying stands, please see here about using the grid.

Select the stand(s) you would like to copy.

Now click on 'Copy' which is located on the MODIFY ribbon menu as shown below:

Now select any point on your screen to use as your Base point. Choose this wisely to make it easier to position the copied stands. If you click the wrong place, you can always press ESC (Escape) and re-run the Copy function if required.

Now move your mouse/stands into the position you want them and press your mouse button again, you have now made a copy of your stands.

This function auto repeats so either make more copies if required, or press ESC on your keyboard to cancel the function.
