Using the Grid
Using the Grid is a great visual aid when positioning things on your floorplan because you can see at a glance how much empty space there is, such as in-between stands.
Here is an example of how the Grid can look.

Next you need to switch the Grid ON.
To switch the Grid ON, click on the Grid button located in the top right row of icons as shown below. When the Grid is on, the button is highlighted.
If you cannot see the grid:
Zoom in closer on your drawing - When zoomed out too far (like when you can see the whole floorplan) the Grid is too dense to display.
Double check your Grid Settings.

If you have switched the Grid on and it is not aligned correctly as shown in the 2nd picture below, use the Align to Grid function.

You can now move stands and other entities around your screen by snapping to the Grid.
If when you move an entity you find it is not snapping to the Grid, make sure you have Snap mode switched on. To enable Snap mode press F7 on your keyboard.
You may find that when you move stands/entities around, they snap to entities as well as the Grid. If you want to make sure your mouse only snaps to the Grid, go to the Snap Settings.
