Edit Stand Details

There are various ways of editing stand details but, the following way is the most commonly used as it shows you all the details in one place.

To edit a stand double click on it.

The Stand Details box will now appear as shown below.

The following edit options are available:

Types

In this section you will find the options for selecting your Stand Types such as Sold, Reserved etc. If no types are available it means you have not set any up yet, for help on doing this click here. To select a stand type just click on the drop down box and click the type you want.

TIP: Click the button to Edit Stand Types if required.

NOTE: Additional plan types will automatically appear at the top of this dialog as you add them.


Details

Stand No. - The stand number can be edited here.

Stand Height - This is the height of the built stand. You can change the default stand heights in Exhibition Properties.

Company - To add a name to the stand click on the Add button which is located just under the large White box. The below dialog box will now appear. Note that you can add many more company details after adding the company by selecting it and then clicking the Edit button.

Enter the name you want shown on the stand by typing it into the top White box. As you type, the list underneath will start to filter based on the characters you type, helping you select an existing name if available. If the name is not already in the list keep typing the name and then click the Add button. The name you typed will now appear in the list and highlight automatically, now click OK to add it to the stand details dialog as shown below.

TIP: If you need to Capitilise or De-capitilise the name you typed, click on the Ab or AB buttons to the left of the name to change it.

TIP: For your convenience, some special character buttons have been placed under the box where you type, just click on these buttons to insert them.

The name has now been added to the Stand Details dialog. If you want to add another company that might be sharing a stand, click on the Add button again.

TIP: If you have multiple names on your stand but only want one main name to show, un-tick the ones you don't want. The un-ticked names will not show on the stand itself but will be shown in the exported exhibitor list.

TIP: Again, if you have multiple names on your stand, you can adjust the order of the names by selecting a name, then click the Blue Arrows on the right of the name list, you can also alphabetise the list by click the button.

TIP: When multiple names are used on your stand, they are separated by a ' / ' (forward slash). You can change this by typing in a new separator in the Separator box e.g. ' , ' (comma + space). If you then click the Default button underneath, it will make your newly typed separator as the default for all new stands.

If you need to re-name the name you have added, select the name and then click Edit.

To delete a name, just select it so it highlights Blue, then click the Delete button.

Options :

Add Carriage Return after each Word - Tick this so that names with multiple words are on top of each other.

Suppress from Inserted Exhibitor List - Tick this so that this stand is not shown on the exhibitor list that can be inserted onto your floorplan.

Show Stand Area (m2/ft2) - Untick this if you want the stand area not to be shown on this particular stand, the default is ticked.

Auto Calculate pillar Area - Untick this if you want to manually enter a pillar area (not recommended). If you want this turned off for all stands you can do this in Exhibition Properties. Note that this will only work when Intelligent Pillars have been added to your floorplan.

URL - Enter a website address in here and this will make your stand clickable when you export your floorplan to a PDF. Click the little Blue icon to test the link you have added.

Notes - Enter any notes on about this particular stand.

Clear Button (at bottom) - Click this to remove all of the details in this dialog box apart form teh stand number and pillar area (if it has been added manually)
