Upload using FTP
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a very basic way of uploading Views of your Floorplan to the internet in whatever file type you select (PDF, JPG etc).
Your floorplan can then be used on a show website or just made accessible to anyone who has the link.
Uploading Plans using FTP

Click the 'Drawing Properties' button which is located on the SETTINGS ribbon.

Now select the 'Save Options' tab, then tick the 'Upload the above files via FTP' option, then click the 'FTP Settings' button as highlighted below.

After clicking the FTP Settings button above, the following dialog will now appear. You now just need to fill in these boxes with the FTP information, see below for details on each field.
FTP Site : This is the host address of the FTP website and will be something similar to this: ftp.hostname.com
Folder : This is the folder that the uploaded PDF will be uploaded to on the FTP site, it should be typed in the following format but the folder names can be called whatever you like: floorplans/2023.
Note: The folder must exist on the FTP site before you can upload to it, otherwise an error will occur when trying to upload.
Username : Type in the FTP username.
Password : Type in the FTP password.
Type :
FTP - Use this for a standard FTP connection
SFTP - Use this for a secure FTP connection (recommended)
Once you have filled in the relevant details you can click the Test button to check it works. If all is ok click OK.
