New Features and Improvements

• You can now change where the Symbols Panel looks for symbols using the System Settings.

Bug Fixes

• Snap settings are now saved per drawing. Before they were not saving at all and always reverted back to all snaps set to 'On'.

New Features and Improvements

You can now access the View Manager, View Selection/creation from the HOME menu. There is now also now a new dedicated button for exporting Views to PDF/DWG etc.

Bug Fixes

• A bug has been fixed where snapping to 'Insertion Point' entities did not work when placed within symbols.

• A couple of glitches have been fixed when using 'Actual Scale' and Custom borders in Views.

• When an upload error occurs a message appears to retry or cancel, and for this message to disappear you had to click yes or no twice for each view that was trying to be uploaded which seemd like you were stuck in a loop, this now only requires one click when clicking No. For help with this message click here.

New Features and Improvements

Lots of changes have been made to the Views system as listed below:

A DWG OPTIONS tab has been added to allow you to configure how a DWG is exported:

• • • You can select whether a DWG or DXF is exported.

    • You can specify whether layers only used in the View are exported, or All Layers and Entities are exported. See here for more information.
      
      

The AUTO tab has been updated with the following:

• • The 'Make View Available on Floorplan Live' tick box has been renamed to 'Upload to Floorplan Live' and moved from the Options tab to the Auto tab.

  • You can now specify individual files to be added to a ZIP file.

  • You can now add an Issue No. to individual files.

  • The 'Auto Export Folder' option has been renamed to '2nd Copy' and allows you to specify each file type to be saved as a 2nd copy.

    • This updated function makes a copy of the file instead of moving it as per the previous function.

    • Once a folder has been selected for the 2nd copy, other views can easily be edited to use the same folder just by selecting it from the combo box.

    • You can access this 2nd copy folder by clicking on the Open Folder button.

  • You  can now see where your files are being saved, along with a button to open this file location.
    
    

• A PDF Security button has been added to the main View Manager dialog. Previously you could only turn security on/off while creating a PDF manually. This also eliminates the extra Security dialog appearing every time you manually create a PDF.
  
  

• A new function has been added which creates a HTML page with Floorplan Live PDF links embedded. This is useful for sending to clients so they have a list of the Views on Floorplan which they can download a Live PDF from. There is also an option to save a 2nd copy of this file in another location if required along with being able to add it to the ZIP file and uploading it via FTP.
  
  

• You can now edit multiple views at the same time, for example, you can select all the views and edit the layers for all of them in one go. Note that not all options are currently multi-editable but will be added in future updates.

Meterage Report Updates:

• When you click on Meterage Report > Export to Spreadsheet, a new dialog will appear with a few new options.

Bug Fixes

• When changing stand text size using the + - buttons, the Text Type selection box was randomly changing to a different text type, this has now been fixed. Unfortunately this problem has not yet been fixed if you type in a size but should work slightly better.

• When creating individual stand PDFs for stands that have pillars, this was not working if 'Auto Calculate Pillar Areas' was switched off.
