You can now turn Snapping off for Symbols and Inserted DWG entities. This is useful if you don't want to keep snapping to entities within a symbol, making it awkward to snap to the thing you want to snap to. It can also speed up the software in some circumstances.

When using the FTP function to upload your floorplan to a website, you can now use SFTP which is a secure connection

When stands are rotated, the text is now also rotated but there are some caveats, so please read this help page.

When inserting the following items, layers are now created/switched to and made visible automatically. You can however, change the entity to a layer of your choice afterwards if required, of which you can get help with here.

Some speed improvements have been made when Refreshing your floorplan, especially on larger and un-optimsed plans. Un-optimsed means that there are many thousands of single entities rather than fewer grouped entities e.g. multiple line segments vs polylines.

The Edit Plan Type dialog box is now stretchable.

The INSERT > Logo / Image function has been changed to INSERT > Logo > Show Logo OR Sponsor Logo.

Angle lock is now disabled when inserting Images, making the insertion more reliable.

You can now convert Zones and Hall Boundaries to Gangway Carpets. You can also create a Gangway Carpet from a Polyline.

You can now reset the perimeter stand dimension sizes and positions using the 'Reset Text' function.

The 'Company Names Manager' function now has a search function along with some other minor improvements.

The BACKUPS folder has now been renamed to 'Versioning'

When you open your floorplan you get asked if you want to update the Issue Details or not, this has now been removed and defaults to Yes so your floorplan always gets the issue details updated.

The display order of Attributes within symbols now export to a DWG correctly

Angle Lock is now disabled while adding Nodes to Stands, Zones and Hall Boundaries. With Angle Lock on, nodes were not being positioned correctly.

You can now set a password for the 'Keep Locked Layers' function. Adding a password means that you can restrict who can unlock certain layers.

You can now set a Custom Stand Build Grid. This is for advanced users only.

When installing EFD from scratch, the 'Auto Files Folders' section in System Settings is now filled in to help organise your files better.

The 'Stand Build Options' (Shell Scheme Components) has been moved to the Exhibitions Properties dialog to keep things tidier.
